Home away from Home

Intro
Since a prophet is not respected nor fully appreciated in their own home, this Blogspot tells the story of moving away from my hometown and create another home away from home. It reflects the belief that to truly locate and understand yourself, you sometimes have to go where you are not recognized. This journey captures the courage to step into the unknown, the lessons learned along the way, and the growth that comes from building a new sense of belonging beyond familiar ground.

The Call
I was seated in my small office, jotting down a few notes while watching some educational content on YouTube. Business was slow that day—a clear reflection of the tough economic times—so the office was unusually quiet. In the middle of that calm, I received a call from one of my light-skinned friends, a moment that would soon break the routine of an otherwise ordinary events.

"Hello, niaje bruh. What are you up to nowadays?" He asks.
"Niko fine thankyou brejin๐Ÿ˜Š Just chilling nothing much" I respond.
"SI ukam hii mtaa basi tuchore Maurandi. Hatuwezi kosa ma 1-2๐Ÿ˜‚, hata Kuna ka opportunity Kako hapa hata kama sio major sana" he stated.
"Wazi mkuu, Wacha nishughulikie transport nikam na hivo."
I hang up.
Abraham
Abraham stepped out in faith, packing his bags and heading toward a land he had no knowledge of, guided only by God’s instruction. In that same spirit, I took a loan from my mother, and by the next morning, I was ready for the journey ahead—trusting the process, believing in mercy, and setting out toward an unfamiliar place with hope as my compass.
Hosted.
I land with my bag & my host takes me to his office for a chat and catch up while he explains the situation before we head to his apartment which had a very peculiar Missouri balcony for his personal meditations.
He gave me a duration of two months nikuwe nishajipanga kivyangu. Actually he  gave an analogy  that " assuming this town is a lake & this lake has a number of fish in plenty, so now I will host you in my boat which is Now my place acting as the boat ⛵ you start fishing probably by tomorrow, You Gerrit ๐Ÿ™‚ and By two months am sure you will have harvested enough to afford yourself your own boat. If thats ok with you. He stated.

I nodded. Believing everything will be as anticipated.

The Hustle.
His Boss would pick us up in the morning since he lived in the neighborhood and drop us at town center while he would proceed to drop his wife to her work place. So transport was sorted most of the time.
The town received and welcomed me warmly. With fine things, Good Moments, generous clients, friendly acquittances, Skills proper allocationing. Suddenly I became useful to the community & they embraced my talents & skills. I became well sought after for this and that and by the end of the given duration I was ready to move out to a single room with the basics.

After a month I was ready to invite my brother who works in a nearby town for a staycation when he gets a leave from his work. The same day he's arriving it's the same day my host decides he wants to visit to where I relocated since I was keeping it a secret as it wasn't that much according to his living status & standards.

But apon the sight of my shelter they both appreciated my efforts stating that atlist I have a roof over my head away from Home ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ We decided to make a toast to that ๐Ÿฅ‚ & since My brother had landed with enormous amount of money we had to Party the whole week non stop, day and night..
I promised them that on Thier next visit they will be remarkably amazed to an extent of asking kama niliingia Illuminati ๐Ÿ˜‚ na nitawajibu " ni God Manze๐Ÿ˜‚ imekuwa ni God Siku Zombo" ๐Ÿ˜
Kwa sababu amwaminiye mola hajawai kosa, for a son can't ask for a fish and be given a stone.

In the next Blogspot, I’ll share how that journey unfolded further—and how it eventually led to living independently, step by step, through lessons learned, challenges faced, and growth earned along the way.
